Did you line up the dowels correctly? My bro's clutch lasted a day cuz he put the flywheel on wrong.

new plate, new clutch, new release bearing
I'm thinking the plate the presses against the P=plate fingers was not spinning at the same speed as the P-plate

If the pressure plate is used it could have lost its retention like mine did. Just a thought.

well just got a tow home from about 1km from my house.

Umm here's the scoop
I bought this tranny off a guy from Gulph ;-)

Finally get it in my car 7 months later and it didn't sound healthy after
the second time I had the car running in the driveway,,, would make this
metal whirly noise, I'd but the clutch in and it would stop that solution
only lasted about a day of farting in the driveway...

So today was my cars first day on the road...
The car pulls great! but...
Getting in to 1st and reverse was always a bitch.
and luckily I was only driving 15 mins away to get my windshield glued back
in, and was on my way home when things when really bad. (stopped traffic
twice)

So now Its like the clutch will not release, no matter how I adjust the
cable, still pulls fine managed to start it well in first and drive to the
next intersection where a phone was a hop away and I could pull off in to
the bus stop.

So what the fuck didn't I do right when assembling the engine/tranny to
cause this clutch problem???
-clutch wont release
-still feel some pressure on the clutch pedal
-have a spare tranny but I love the gearing on the AGS
-AGS = 210mm clutch correct? (If I had the wrong one wouldnt I just machine
the spindle on the tranny and go no where)

And can one of the experienced tranny replacers post the instructions on a
drive way tranny swap please.

Hope someone can help me out, well I make my self dinner.
