Definetly sounds like a clutch problem, not a tranny.  Likely will have
to come apart by the sounds of it.  If the release bearing was gone
you;d hear it at the other end.   Its the clutch still engaged, and just
doesn't release ?  Or does the clutch not even grab at all?

If it is the tranny, give me a call and I'll hook you up.
