[VWoT] OT: Lest We Forget

Title: Message
Today is a day to remember the battles fought, the lives lost and the horror that our grandfathers/mothers (maybe even fathers/mothers for the older members) faced when they were younger than most of us.  As of today, there are only 8 surviving WWI veterans in Canada, out of the 600,000 that went over.  There are over 200,000 veterans left of the over 1 million that fought in WWII.  Today is a day to remember all of them.  Take a moment and remember all that they gave up, and reflect on their sacrifices in all the wars Canadian troops, and indeed troops of the world, fought in.  I'm sure that there are some members of the list whose lives are owed, in part, to the dedication and sacrifices made by our veterans.

At 11 o'clock, join the rest of the world in remembering, and thanking, those who have given their lives for us.

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

Thanks,
