I've got a 2.5 rs, and its pretty straight foreward swap, all of the cluster signals are the same too, so no funky wiring to do, the only thing is to pay attention to which motor your swapping as you may need to carry some extra things over that are used for security issues involved with the ecu. Other than that its straight bolt in. :) Sent on the go Curve 8900:24A6A186

I am sure there was something wrong with a calliper or the brake
master cylinder that gave him the spongy feel. Flushing/bleeding the
brake fluid won’t get rid of it. It may have a seal that sucks in air
every time you release the brakes or a brake master cylinder that has an
internal leak.
As for PnP , I am not sure. I am sure I might have a line on a
WRX turbocharger and intercooler for my Forester J

A friend of mine had a 99 2.5RS, for a while before he
traded the car, he was talking about a WRX swap.
According to him at the time, it was a straight plug and play swap.
He always complained about the brake feel in that car, it always felt like it
had air trapped.
After fluid bleeding and flushing about 4 times he just excepted the feel as
the way the car was.

with a JDM motor? (or is there a 100 other things you'd have to change as
well?)
Just curious :)

When I owned my WRX 3 years ago (27, single and a clean
record), it
was amongst the 10 ten stolen cars and I paid around $230/month (w/ a
clean record). Probably due to the amount of people swapping engines
into older imprezas, sounds similar to what happened years ago with
the VR6 swaps into MK2's.
Currently, my 03 Jetta 1.8T costs me about $175/month
