2.5L V6 Turbo Diesel...  Yum.

Anyone ever hear that the VR6 originally started out as a Diesel?

The Jeep engine is from Merc, not VW

VW has made TDI's bigger than 1.9/2L
In Europe the Passat was available with a 2.5 TDI V6 (single turbo).
I have seen one of these motors in person (a guy in KW imports them) and
they're pretty fuggin cool.
And of course VW makes the V10 TDI in the Toureg
