I know lot of you guys like the passat... for me passatt is like
the girl with questionable morals... bedding her is risky because you don’t
know what she may or may not have and you may get it. Unreliability wise i am saying passat takes the cake. Pre mkv and pre city golf/jetta The shapes were unique and good
for golf/jetta. I have seen a handful of CCs on the road... everytime i been to
a dealership its mostly filled with CCs. So i agree with passatt getting on the a4 market because why
would someone sane get a cc instead of a bollywood star a4. I think passat cc maybe an experiment for them... a bastard car
to balance out books. From: owner-vwotm@xxxxxxxx
[mailto:owner-vwotm@xxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Allan V I think thats exactly the point, notice the wagon is now a
"down market" Golf, the Jetta is supposed to be more upscale. The
utility of a station wagon is not trendy/fashionable to the market they are
aiming the car towards.....all by design. VW is trying to make more of their cars more respected as a
higher end vehicles in north america...completely nullifying the point of
having Audi in North America. I don't get it. Sell the Jetta for what it
is, a 4 door golf with a trunk. They could potentially starve
sales of the Passat replacement by moving the Jetta slightly upscale. If
they make the Passat any mroe expensive they're approaching in A4
territory. The average buyer is going to look right past the Passat to the
Base A4... Allan From: Alistair Aleem
