[VWoT] Boosht Gauge

Hey,

Boost gauge in the A-Pillar pod gets so hot that I can't touch it.
Just noticed it the other day.

Vacuum line hooked up and works well, has been in for about 3 weeks now.

Black wire goes to proper ground.
Red wire taps into the Gray wire that goes to the interior light dimmer switch.
(Not the gray wire with the blue stripe)
I think I have this wrong because the boost gauge doesn't dim with the interior lights.

Maybe I have the wires on the gauge in reverse order? It's such a pain to keep removing...

Do these gauges normally get hot?
I've felt a couple others and they were pretty damn warm, but not hot like mine.

TIA,
Jer.
